roduct Engineer is responsible for customer purchase order processing, alignment of engineering resources, and technical completion of activities related to customer order fulfillment.

The Product Engineer reports to the Engineering Supervisor.
He/she is also responsible for the preparation of detailed drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials, parts code management based on API 682, API 614, ASME Section XIII Division 1, customer and Flowserve specifications, calculations, material selection and technical support to internal and external customers, as well as on-site support to clarify technical and/or equipment performance issues.
esponsibilities:- Bid support activities include performing pre-engineering work to determine technical scope, engineering manpower, risk analysis and/or making equipment selection outside of the QRC.- Reviewing the design specification from the order transfer file- Perform detailed layout and mechanical design including conducting and analyzing routine engineering, design calculation and simulation.- Provide primary customer interface/support to other internal functions, providing technical guidance to clarify design requirements.- Coordinate Order Engineering resources and direct activities across multiple projects.- Provide technical support to the supply chain, including reviewing suppliers and- purchasing drawings- Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance on specification deviations and other activities where required.- Reviewing the quality plan- Provide commissioning and warranty support as required.- Review full technical documentation package to validate product performance against customer requirements and suggest modifications where necessary- Complete technical compliance with job requirements- Meet project schedules for engineering documentation and gather first edition approvals- Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy and timeliness in issuing documentation- Provide rework or resubmission documentation in agreed cycles to obtain approvals- Provide resolutions of non-conformance reports to contract/customer on specification issues.
equirements:- Engineering degree and/or 2+ years of related experience- Knowledge of 3D/2D design, Inventor, Solidworks and AutoCad.- Understanding of engineering documentation, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing- Oral and written communication skills- Collaborative interpersonal skills- Basic project management tools, methods and applications- Responsibility in execution to complete work on time- Advanced knowledge of Office Package- Knowledge of analysis tools (FEA)- Intermediate fluency in EnglishPreferred skills:- Advanced fluency in the English language- Knowledge of mechanical seals, rotating equipment and auxiliary systems (API)
