J. P. Morgan Payments (formerly Treasury Services) provides cash management, liquidity, commercial card, foreign exchange and escrow solutions to clients across the world. Teams are constantly innovating, using the latest technology and data analytics to deliver specialized solutions to help clients grow and streamline their businesses. The organization combines four lines of business: Merchant Services, Treasury Services, Commercial Card and Trade Finance to help clients manage working capital and increase operational efficiency. The payments business is rapidly growing. PTCE is part of the Payment Operations organization supporting CIB wide transformation and change programs and platforms. An exciting opportunity has become available to lead the LATAM Payment Operations Platform Transformation and Change (PTCE) function. This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing team, responsible for building transformation, change, and operational capabilities. We are looking for an outstanding executive. The LATAM Payment Ops regional lead will report into the Head of PTCE. **The successful applicant will:- Build high performing teams comprised of individuals with multi-faceted skills- Collaborate with executive leads across cross functional areas- Develop a perspective of the strategic organizational structure, evaluate headcount requirements and ensure financial impacts are assessed and budgeted. - Carefully manage local PTCE finances ensuring appropriate allocation methodologies- Ensure management receives accurate progress reporting, is aware of risks and concerns and issues are escalated promptly- Work collaboratively with team members across line of business and cross functional teams- Partner closely with the wider Payment Operations teams to ensure effective communication and delivery- Identify, monitor and manage through metrics that matter**Required skills and qualifications:- Fluent in Portuguese- Spanish language skills a bonus- 10+ years of experience in payments or financial services- 5+ years of experience leading teams or initiatives- Track record of successfully reshaping complex organizations, including role redefinition, realigning work, assessing financial impacts, setting up new processes, building readiness plans and training, preparing them for the transition and evaluating success- Operational background with a strong understanding of risk and control- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build partnerships with senior business and control partners- Demonstrate communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally at all levels to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes- Promote an inclusive work environment, respect and engage individuals at every level- Be skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, and provide insightful and timely remediation. - Display good judgment, professional maturity and a strong work ethic- Able to work comfortably and confidently under pressure and deadlines- Able to handle multiple work streams/teams and manage stakeholder expectations- Able to lead with confidence and empathy, be considerate of others, being supportive during high pressure situations and celebrating successes- Be willing to take personal accountability- Demonstrate outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment-
