NURSE

Responsibilities:Develop procedures and anticipate crisis intervention for acute illnesses and injuries;Maintain, assess, and interpret cumulative health data to address the individual needs of students and staff;Plan and implement health management protocols for school-aged children and children with special health needs, including medication administration;Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection, surveillance, and reporting of contagious diseases;Provide direct health education and health counseling to assist students and teachers;Support teachers on student health matters;Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, school policy, and administrative procedures;Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and school facilities;Attend extracurricular activities beyond the regular school day;Attend faculty meetings and participate in committee meetings when requested;Assist in obtaining resources and support for students through Student Services;Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned by the administration. Requirements:Fluent in English (written and spoken);Degree in Nursing;Proficiency in Google Suite;Experience in health administrative functions is preferred.
