Marketing Executive - Billed as the first luxurious integrated resort in Jeddah, Rixos Obhur Jeddah will meet the increasing demand for luxurious hospitality paired with high-quality leisure activities in the area. The resort will host guests in 250 residential units, including 176 rooms and 74 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches and a port. Job DescriptionAssists the Director of Marketing and Communications in maintaining and implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization. Identifies and maintains a general database of potential sponsors for all events and targets specific ones related to each event separately. Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements. Self-motivator and outgoing, enabling socialization and meetings with potential sponsors and clients. Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to sponsorship proposals, negotiations, and letters of thanks and appreciation. Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications in handling events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to ensure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts. Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors. Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national, and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions. Hosts members of the media, strategic partners, and top clients at the propertys functions and events. Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material. Takes photographs of all internal functions, banquet and conference functions, and VIPs visiting the hotel. Attends all events and promotions. Press cuttings of Arabic and English publications. Submits a monthly report to the Director of Marketing and Communications updating on all matters related to the activities within the department. Attends division and general meetings whenever required. Undertakes such additional duties as may be required by the General Managers, the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Marketing at any given time. Promotes efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and an extremely high standard of social skills. Ensures good inter-departmental relations. QualificationsPrevious hospitality experience.
