Local Study Associate Director (fixed term)- Biopharma Introduction to Role.
Are you ready to lead and innovate in the dynamic field of clinical studies? We are seeking a Local Study Associate Director (LSAD) to head our Local Study Team(s) (LSTs) at the country level.
The LSAD will ensure the delivery of committed components of clinical studies according to agreed resources, budget, and timelines, complying with AZ Procedural Documents, international guidelines such as ICH-GCP, and relevant local regulations.
This role also involves site monitoring as needed to support our flexible capacity model.
Accountabilities.
As LSAD, you will be responsible for the overall study commitments within the country and for timely delivery of data to required quality.
You will lead and optimize the performance of the Local Study Team(s), ensuring compliance with AZ Procedural Documents, ICH-GCP, and local regulations.
Your role will involve coordinating site selection processes, ensuring timely submission of application/documents to EC/IRB, maintaining accurate study budgets, planning and coordinating local drug activities, overseeing monitoring activities, and proactively identifying and resolving complex study problems and issues.
You will also be responsible for training and coaching new members of the Local Study Team.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Degree in Healthcare areas   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both local language and English   - Experience in a Manager or Leadership role   - Strong personal initiative and ability to function well as part of a cross-functional team   - Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently   - Ability to travel throughout Brazil for up to 30% of the time  - Experience in projects and deliverables into Oncology, Respiratory, Immunology, Cardiology, and Rare Disease   When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
