Junior Cloud Engineer - Digital McKinsey brings together the best of McKinseys digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, youll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Youll work side-by-side with McKinsey Digital Labs architects and data engineers to solve our clients complex problems. Youll typically work on projects across all industries and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm. Youll work with colleagues from across the firm to help our clients launch agile marketing and personalization programs at scale, enabled by data and technology. Youll have the opportunity to plug into exciting large scale marketing and digital transformations. Our office culture is casual and social, with an emphasis on education and innovation. We have the freedom to try new ideas, experiment and are expected to be constantly learning and growing. There is also a strong emphasis on mentoring others in the group,enabling them to grow and learn. You will serve as a supporting team member during cloud project implementation. You will typically be the first line in the chain, working from the service desk or support channels. Working in this position will be a combination of maintaining, supporting, and monitoring cloud infrastructure as you sharpen your abilities to upskill your knowledge. You will support the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical requirements. You will provide assistance in implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to processes & technology. You will participate in execution and documentation of implementations by utilizing cloud tools to standardize and automate infrastructure deployment and management activities. You will assist in the development of cloud technology roadmaps, provide technical advice and solutions to address customer requirements. Bachelor''s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experienceCloud Platform (Azure, AWS) knowledge/experienceExcellent communication skills verbal & written in EnglishCustomer-centricDecisiveness and multitasking skillsExceptional record keeping skillsAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentStrong analytical skillsTechnical background in areas such as Networking or System Administration, Databases or Application technical support will be considered a plus
