Job Description What you can look forward to as IT Processes and Systems Consultant Support and standardization of assembly processes by selecting and using suitable software and hardware solutions from the ZF portfolio as well as on the external market; Specification of complex system requirements as well as creation of user stories and/or functional specifications and technical specifications (e.
., determination of control logic and data structure); Close and continuous cooperation with responsible IT development departments for the implementation of software solutions for semi- to highly automated production processes; Development and implementation of complex workflows and system logics within the strategic software solutions as well as coordination of releases for productive use; Launch of software and hardware solutions incl.
definition and implementation of test scenarios (UAT) as well as training of planners, supervisors and end users; Planning and managing subprojects or work packages in compliance with technical specifications as well as economic targets and deadlines; Competent consulting of our plants and product lines regarding digital transformation as well as conceptual development of future smart factory solutions.
Your Profile as IT Processes and Systems Consultant Complete bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics; Experience in production and/or software development; Experience in automation technology and project management would be an advantage; Knowledge of software development (in particular Java) and in PLC programming would be beneficial; Strong ability to work in a team, high communication skills, personal responsibility and analytical working methods as well as a high degree of independence; Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as readiness for business trips.
