The IT Business Analyst acts as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders by understanding business problems and change needs, assessing the business impact of problems/changes and translating them into an IT demand. It is expected that the IT Business Analyst can lead/support strategic Amcor business initiatives through the execution of projects and intricate support activities for one or more functional areas. Key Job Accountabilities: Act as IT partner and trusted advisor to business teams in the areas of data, analytics, and AI. Provide day-to-day support and on-going development of Microsoft Power BI databases, data refreshes, data transformations, and visualizations. Work with business partners to understand and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into technical/functional requirements and IT solution designs. Plan and manage projects to successfully deliver the solutions that support Amcor's data and analytics needs. Build test plans, conduct component/integration testing and participates/supports on user acceptance tests. Assists with data conversion and data validation. Work with all necessary IT teams to deliver projects, including review of solution with Solution Architects and IT Application Specialists as appropriate. Supports knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer to end users. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field or equivalent experience. Business context fluency in both Spanish and English communication (spoken, written). Proficiency in Power BI. Ability to create and design reports, experience in publishing and sharing reports, skills in developing data models and using various types of connectors and data sources. Proficiency in Data Analysis and Visualization. Proficiency in writing DAX queries for data manipulation and strong understanding of SQL for data extraction and transformation. Experience implementing advanced data visualization techniques is a plus. Advanced techniques include conditional formatting, real-time data dashboards, and time series visualizations. Solid background creating and using Power BI data sources, data modeling, transformations, visualizations and dashboards. Demonstrated ability to import, transform, and create visualizations of data from multiple data sources. Demonstrated ability to understand business needs, interpret data, and create data visualizations that deliver insights and actions. Efficient integration between SQL queries and Power BI. Agility, sound judgment, collaborative, strong follow-through, and initiative. Attention to detail with high level of accuracy with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team. Microsoft Certified is a plus as certification demonstrates proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Power BI. Understanding of ITIL concepts preferred. #LI-remote #J-18808-Ljbffr
