Overview Specific Responsibilities of the Role: To assist in the delivery of signalling engineering projects or development of signalling products within the Alstom DI&S business unit. The signalling engineering professional will learn signalling engineering skills through formal academic learning coupled with structured on-the-job training that will equip the person for a position in signalling design, product development, project engineering, safety assurance or quality, signalling systems. The professional will, through the apprentice period, assist in the delivery of signalling projects or developments by being assigned to work placements. Qualifications & Experience Signalling and Railway knowledge Ability to make decisions/Sense of urgency Motivating and Inspiring Operational Effectiveness/Accountability Communication with Transparency Technical Aptitude and Good Dexterity Skills Self-Directed and Results Focused Educational Background: Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Engineering, System Analysis degree. Understand the basics of programming logics Python, C++, VB SQL Server English intermediate level is mandatory, advanced level is desirable. Portuguese fluency is required.
