Global Procurement Director (Remote) - Do you thrive with improving processes and developing strategies? As a Global Procurement Director, you''ll lead a procurement team of 20+ members in six different sites in the US and Mexico helping them move from a tactical to a strategic approach! Although we prefer this role to be in El Paso, TX or Santa Teresa, NM we would consider remote workers in the Southwest US including Texas, Arizona or Nevada. How Youll Help Us Connect The WorldIn this role, you will formulate strategy, recommend, and implement solutions and adjust according to business requirements by defining and leading the execution of the supply chain strategy ensuring that maximum benefit is realized from any leverage opportunities across multiple site locations in the region and globally as well as continuous review and analysis of the strategy are required to accommodate changes in market dynamics. Establish, document, and complete site Category Strategies and conduct regular reviews on strategy with key collaborators to report on supplier performance and critical initiatives and identify (short/medium/long term) risks, and develop/implement appropriate risk mitigation plans and KPIs (metric tracking) that challenge and drive suppliers to deliver continuous improvement ideas on cost in the region to PIP forward planning as well as leading and handling contract negotiations with suppliers and Site teams. Provide input to global procurement processes, policies, and procedures to enhance supplier spend management. Lead a global team in the US and Mexico and create a standardized process for facilities. Required QualificationsBachelor''s degree and 10 or more years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain focusing on manufacturingBilingual in English/SpanishExperience leading a procurement team of 10 or more peopleAbility to travel InternationallyyYou Will Excite Us If You HaveMBA or advanced degreeStrongcultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures and be skillful at influencing decisions and opinions, negotiating, and building consensus.
