GENOMIC SPECIALIST CONSULTANT

Job Overview Responsible for continued growth of IQVIA's Genomics Offering in the United States.
Provides institutional expertise to integrate genomic offering across multiple IQVIA Business Lines to meet client needs.
Supports the on-time completion of projects or components of large, complex projects for clients in the life sciences field.
Identifies and elevates potential new business opportunities and assists in the sales process.
Has a deep understanding of business process, client needs and partnerships.
Essential Functions • Participates or leads teams in the design, development and delivery of genomic projects or components of larger, complex projects.
• Reviews and analyzes client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction though the integration of IQVIA Genomic Solutions.
• Supports strategy development in conjunction with the broader team to position IQVIA a leader in the field of Genomics / Precision Medicine.
• Identifies and vets potential genomic technology or data partners to strengthen IQVIA Genomics Offering.
• Strategically manages the relationships with healthcare stakeholders, site management, clinical stakeholders, data partners, and internal IQVIA collaborators.
• Translates differentiated and innovative products and services into new business opportunities by collaborating with BD colleagues.
• Designs, structures and delivers reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience for both internal and external clients.
• Conducts competitor analysis to ensure initial and ongoing differentiation of IQVIA services.
• Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
• Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of genomics and life sciences market through on the job experience and participation in training opportunities.
• Identifies marketing and thought leadership activity required at global, regional and national level; work with marketing partners to coordinate Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree Req • Master's Degree / PhD Pref • 5-8 years of related experience in consulting and/or life sciences industry Req • Prior experience or avid interest in genomics and the healthcare and life science industries.
• Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the life science industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life science industry.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
