Why is this role crucial for Pogust Goodhead? We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, specialising in Java and ReactJS to join our technology team.
This role is perfect for a developer who has a strong foundation in Java frameworks and is skilled in both front-end and back-end development.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of scalable web applications and dynamic software solutions.
\n Role & Responsibilities.
o   Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions using Java as a back-end-technology, and ReactJS as a front-end technology.
o   Work across the full stack from database schema design to business logic to user interface implementation.
o   Design and implement user-friendly front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React.
o   Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop environments.
o   Develop and maintain robust API's and back-end services using Java.
o   Optimise back-end services for speed and efficiency.
o   Design and implement database schemas and conduct performance tuning in SQL Server or other relational databases.
o   Manage data integration, migrations, and handling using Entity Framework.
o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
o   Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and to share knowledge with team members.
o   Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within your scope of responsibility.
o   Ensure all software documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.
Qualifications.
·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
·       3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies.
·       Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
·       Experience with front-end technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
·       Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred).
·       Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
·       Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
·       Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
