Our client, a leading Chicago-based non-profit, provides support for continuing medical education for physicians. We are looking for a Full Stack . NET Engineer who will bring a robust background in software development, coupled with expertise in the applicable programming languages and the . NET framework. You will play a significant role in the software development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to rigorous testing and seamless deployment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using . NET languages (C#, VB. NET) and technologies (ASP. NET, . NET Core). Build user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue. js. Develop and consume web services, with RESTful APIs, for seamless communication between client-side and server-side components. Implement data storage solutions using databases like SQL Server and write efficient data access code with Entity Framework or ADO. NET. Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with team members, including designers and developers, to meet project objectives. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement unit tests, participate in code reviews and integration tests to ensure quality. Stay current with the latest developments in the . NET platform and web technologies. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to support. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, including troubleshooting and resolving issues post-deployment. Requirements Proficient in C# programming language and . NET platform. Skilled in using ASP. NET to build APIs and backend web services. Experience writing software tests (unit and integration tests). Experience (3+ years) designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems. Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns, large-scale distributed applications, and microservices. Experience with JSON, XML, and/or gRPC. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and processing. Additional Considerations: Prior experience with healthcare technologies or education platforms is a plus. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure for scalable deployments.
