As a FSI Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team focused on increasing technology adoption of cloud computing by engaging with executives and influencers at all levels.
You will work closely with teams across AWS to build relationships with financial institutions, from FinTech startups to the largest global financial entities in the world.
Strategically, the AWS FSI Specialist seeks to understand the needs of Capital Markets customers, the overall trends in the industries.
Financial Services Specialists play an active role in developing business cases, analyzing project goals, creating plans to achieve those goals, and then driving the AWS team members, stakeholders/SMEs to achieve those goals while addressing industry-specific execution challenges.
Tactically, the FSI Specialist is responsible for planning and leading business development initiatives through their understanding of their customers, their solutions, and the key solutions vendors and system integrators who deliver those solutions.
They leverage their management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive initiatives to successful completion.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - 5+ years of professional or military experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations - Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
