The RoleThis position within Grass Valley provides financial analysis for the one operational department and is part of the financial planning and analysis team thatprovides planning, forecasting, reporting, business analysis and decision support. In addition, this role is expected to provide business analysis and initiatives as an active team member of the FP&A Team. Responsibilities ? Key AccountabilitiesFinancial Partner to one of our 5 operational departmentsGather, provide and consolidate commentaries for variances on forecast and actualsPrepare and update monthly reports for Sites, Proforma, and Empresa importante consolidationsCommunicate detailed results of spend and collaborate with team to devise forecastUpdate leadership on current trends and concerns and opportunitiesSupport special projects for FP&A teamProvide financial and business analysis on project work with an eye for process productivity and controlLead annual budgeting process for department working closely with cross-functional teams to build accurate budgetsAd-hoc transactional activities during the monthWhat You Will Need To Be SuccessfulBachelor?s degree in Accounting or FinancePrior financial experience with Planning/Forecasting/Reporting3-5 years of accumulated relevant experienceHyperion Financial Management experience an asset but not requiredWorking knowledge of various BI packagesKnowledge to work with ERP systems, ideally Empresa importanteDemonstrated business acumen and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong drive and initiativeContinuous improvement mindsetExcellent sense of organization, precision and detailProven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadsAbility to work in a Empresa importante and intercultural environment
