Financial Planning & Analysis Intern - Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on-the-job training, participate in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events! How Youll Help Us Connect the World As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern, you will be part of the Corporate Finance & Analysis team that is responsible for the development and implementation of financial plans. You will participate in developing, analyzing, and implementing financial/accounting concepts and techniques for financial planning. You will gain financial analysis and business knowledge and skills that will give you a strong foundation in the Finance & accounting field. This role will be virtual with preference given to candidates who live close to Suwanee, Georgia or Charlotte, North Carolina. You Will Make an Impact By Having the opportunity to develop strong analytical and financial forecasting skills and using data-driven insights that may drive business decisions. Actively contributing and working with team members to analyze process/system improvements and enhancements cross-functionally. Required Qualifications for Consideration Actively pursuing a bachelors (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or masters degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university. Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3. 0. An understanding of the role of financial reporting and analysis. Understanding of modeling and Excel skills, exposure to conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, and ability to generate data-driven insights. Expert level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information. In-depth understanding of financial documents. Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. You Will Excite Us If You Have experience with business analysis, planning, projections, and variance analysis. Have worked with SAP and/or Oracle ERP, Business Object (SAP report writer), EPBCS, or Hyperion Essbase. Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team. Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines. Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communication skills. Have strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and are flexible to changing priorities.
