EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATE

Equipment Associate - We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Equipment team in Santos - Brazil . This is an exciting career opportunity to work for Maersk Group. In this position, you will be in charge of Equipment daily activities, which includes proactively monitoring and managing the end-to-end process of Containers flow along the coast in compliance with all company procedures, ensuring that our customers will be attended and also containers repositioning to the right place. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and understanding their business drivers should be leveraged to continuously improve cooperation and processes to the mutual benefit of the customer and Maersk Group. The team has an active participation in the corporate drive for process standardization and enhancements, which has resulted in higher efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Follow up container receipt; Monitor flow to cover demand; Monitor port stock; Monitor repair performance; Monitor container longstanding; Follow up on empty releases at off-docks; Ensure that we will not face a lack of containers; Ensure that all bookings will be attended in due time; Provide full support to Customer Service and Sales desk; Monitor, control and reduce operational costs related to empty containers; Read and respond to e-mails from internal and external customers in due time; Pull reports and build analytical overview about stock and container flow; Plan empty reposition; Plan redelivery of off-hire units. Who we are looking for Bachelors degree; Advanced English level; Analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities; Communicationskills; Ability to work in challenging situations; Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; Personable, energetic, sense of urgency, teamwork, proactive and creative.
