ENGINEER

Engineer - Both market sectors require similar engineering skill sets, and our breadth of experience in offshore structures and environments allows us to provide expertise at all stages of a project: feasibility and concept design, detailed design, procurement management, fabrication support, installation support, monitoring, integrity management, asset life extension and decommissioning. 2H Offshore is looking to add an Engineer to their expanding team in Rio de Janeiro. As an Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary project team, gaining experience across a wide variety of projects allowing you to perform design activities including calculations, dynamic structural analysis and system configuration for a variety of subsea, platform and renewable energy structures. You will be responsible for ensuring acceptable structural and fatigue performance of the designs, whilst considering the functional, fabrication, installation and in-service requirements. The role will also involve the communication of technical results and conclusions to other members of the team and clients through meetings, presentations and written reports. We use a number of software packages, from specialist global analysis tools such as Flexcom, Orcaflex and SACS, to general-purpose finite element analysis and design tools such as Ansys and Solidworks.
