Purpose of the Job    Oxitec is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with project management skills and the ability to work as part of a team to join our team in Brazil.
This is an exciting position that will place the candidate to support the development and implementation of construction projects of an innovative insect technology company.
This position will work collaboratively with other staff members.
This will include regular interaction with the R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Safety & Health, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
Experience with project management is essential, experience with manufacturing lines is preferred, but even important is the willingness to learn and the dream of changing the world for the better.
Responsibilities  Develop and implement construction projects.
Manage work teams.
Surveying materials and checking their quality.
Monitoring and checking services provided by contractors.
Taking measurements of work progress from contractors to ensure the accuracy of the work performed.
Supporting the project leaders ensuring daily routines, meeting projects deadlines and deliverables.
Perform efficient communication among those involved in the projects.
Ensure efficient project execution.
Comply with the companys quality program procedures and policies, as well as Health & Safety standards.
Time flexibility - for weekends and holidays occasionally when necessary.
Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements    Graduation in engineering or related field.
Project management skills with proven experience.
Technical background with production processes, assembly lines, equipment management, operation of facilities and utilities are preferred.
Well-developed organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Have a good attention for detail, excellent timekeeping standards and responsiveness.
AutoCAD, Solid Works (Revit is desirable).
Good Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
