70% UMS.
30% Automation.
Responsible for developing the automation plan for each site (processes, manufacturing lines, production processes, logistics, maintenance, etc.) in collaboration with the site leaders & Engineering teams of the PC Latam operations.
Conduct internal and external benchmarks to identify the best opportunities in the industry.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in industrial automation, such as AI and Industry 4.
technologies.
Identify automation opportunities in E2E Supply Chain processes.
Co-lead with Engineering the execution of automation projects across the region.
Ensure that all automated systems and processes comply with local regulations and the company’s internal standards for industrial safety and quality.
Digital | Cyber.
Responsible for leading the manufacturing digital transformation roadmap for the organization.
Be a core part of the business, aligning teams with the business requirements and looking for technological capabilities inside the internal infrastructure.
Carry out a specific investigation to understand what the IT and OT necessities of the workforce are, based on business pain points.
Develop strategies to encourage users to adopt technological services and disruptive products.
Develop skills and implement projects on Data & Analytics.
Rollout of global Strategies.
Implement Cyber Security Strategy by site.
ManEx | UMS.
Lead the continuous improvement agenda for PC Latam.
Guarantee Industrial Performance for Efficiency, Waste and Savings Agenda.
Lead the RVS (Regional Virtual Site) agenda across the region.
Coordinate the implementation and promote continuous improvement of the UMS methodology (Unilever Manufacturing System) Support in implementing UMS across the region.
Support in the development and implementation of methodologies for solving problems.
Provide support and strategy for the development of UMS pillars.
Conduct and ensure continuous improvement in the UMS Cross-Audit and Self-Assessment processes.
Promote internal (Unilever) and external (Market) Benchmarking of productivity indicators and processes (UMS).
Define and directing the goals of the pillars; Ensure that each pillar establishes a Master Plan and an Action Plan to manage activities regionally.
Contribute to the definition of indicators and goals for factory teams ensuring the use of a Loss Tree Guide work teams with the selection and appropriate use of UMS tools Develop and promote training for all hierarchical levels of the company Guide and influence people to correctly use loss analysis and treatment methods and tools.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications Desirable automation complete degree or equivalent Automation process experience Digital Experience or Strong interest in developing him/herself to lead PC LA program Continuous Improvement methodology experience – UMS, WCM, TPM Lean, etc Travel.
30 to 50% of time traveling to PC operations in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
