ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND THE TEAM SAP Cloud Integration for data services is a data integration tool to efficiently and securely use ETL (extract, transform, load) tasks to move data between on-premise systems and the cloud.
SAP Datasphere enables a business data fabric architecture that uniquely harmonizes mission-critical data across the organization, unleashing business experts to make the most impactful decisions.
It combines previously discrete capabilities into a unified service for data integration, cataloging, semantic modeling, data warehousing, and virtualizing workloads across SAP and non-SAP data.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES · You will learn about data integration and data transformation technologies · You will learn how data integration tools fit into the Big Data scenarios · You will learn about ETL tools, their respective background technologies and use cases · You will learn how continuous integration works in a global development environment · You will have the opportunity to develop distributed applications that run on cluster mode · You will be part of a globally distributed group that has an enormous impact in the Enterprise Software industry on a global scale   EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS · As a developer of the Cloud Integration for Data Services team you will focus on design, coding, and quality assurance of specific product features · You will be responsible for maintaining the existing productive platform in a first stage, and then for contributing to the development of the SAP Datasphere integration as a second step · You will be assigned for paid on-call duty on selected weeks and weekends   EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES · Degree in Computer Science or related fields · Experience in software development projects in any role.
This job requires familiarity with the challenges that software development poses, such as working with an existing code base and repository · Advanced or fluent English · Good programming skills · Proficiency in JAVA programming language and ecosystem · Willingness to take ownership, drive new developments, and work creatively on disputing and groundbreaking tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team-spirit, flexibility, and initiative     ​ Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
