The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in desktop support and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
This role involves day shifts and does not require travel.
The candidates contributions will directly impact our companys efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems both remotely and on-site.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with network and server infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Assist in the development and deployment of new desktop solutions and technologies.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their technical proficiency.
Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve overall system performance and reliability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Have 2 to 4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
Demonstrate strong technical skills in troubleshooting and resolving desktop issues.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Show proficiency in using remote desktop support tools.
Have experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Display a solid understanding of network and server infrastructure.
Be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Exhibit a customer-focused attitude and a dedication to providing high-quality support.
Certifications Required CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified.
