Job Overview The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for the integration, test, and deployment of hardware and software, and embedded systems. This includes SIL network planning, software integration support, virtual machine creation and management, rack hardware design and installation, SIL test procedure development, verification, and validation of system functionality. He will be involved in solving complex problems associated with both the hardware and software systems. Work will also include modification, and maintenance of system drawings (SIL network architecture, layout, cable drawings, rack drawings). Responsibilities Perform and manage system integration, test and troubleshooting of various hardware/software configurations Installing and managing equipment in server racks and updating of the Lab(s) inventory Integrate hardware equipment for the Systems Integration Labs (SIL) Establish Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL)/Closed-Loop development and testing in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL) Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs. Participate in technical exchange meetings, interface with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables. Integrating hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements, and the system and segment level teams Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements Basic Qualifications DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificate such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA Security, SSCP or GSEC Experience with networking technologies. Experience with virtualized environments. Experience with Windows Workstations and Servers. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desired Skills Strong and proven effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) Proven effective leadership and teaming skills Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members Cisco CCNA, and/or CCNP certification or equivalent Experience with networking technologies such as IGMP/multicast, OSPF, EIGRP, SNMP Experience with virtualized environments using VMware vSphere Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark/NPcap Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment, Dell/HP storage solutions and servers Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract #J-18808-Ljbffr
