As part of the Civil Group, the Civil Engineer assists with the planning, design, and plan production for general civil engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include site civil design, rough & precise grading, dredging, drainage design, utility design (sewer, water, & storm drain).

ssist in the completion of construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specificationsAssist in the design of construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and modelsAssist in preparation of engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic dataAssist in determining project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costsAssist in the creation of feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling dataOther duties.
