Data Center Sourcing and Procurement (DCSP) supports Data Center Global Services in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs, manages the full “Supplier Lifecycle” including Strategic Sourcing and Intake, Onboarding, Solicitations, Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP) Compliance, Contract Management, Supplier Development, and portions of requisitioning and payment operations.
We are seeking a Buyer to support the Americas data center construction space.
As a Buyer with DCSP, you will work with the category manager in creating and supporting vendor qualifications, request for proposals, data analysis, vendor performance dashboards for construction, due diligence, engineering services categories.
You will also provide input on procurement processes and tools to help identify tools to increase efficiencies and enable innovation across teams.
The ideal candidate must be collaborative, but also work with autonomy.
To be successful in this role you must be highly analytical; think strategically; have a sense of urgency to meet customer timelines; exhibit an intense curiosity and learning drive, succeed in a fast-paced environment; engage key stakeholders where needed; and have a high level of customer focus.
Also, you must have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and driving them to completion to meet business objectives.

Key job responsibilities • Provide procurement operations support for the data center, including supplier management (goods and services), inventory management, and procurement transaction and expediting support.
• Manage the supplier onboarding and qualification process.
PO Issuance.
Lead end to end PO issuance process.
Works with internal stakeholders to align on delivery timeline, funding and approvals to issue purchase orders to material suppliers.
• Managing Delivery.
Oversees on-time delivery of awarded material to corresponding site locations.
• Escalation.
Serves as escalation point of contact when material is delayed and works with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Manage KPI to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements for the Operations network.
• Align with internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics.
• Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network.
• Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement on behalf of Amazon • Partner with AP, Suppliers and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree - Basic qualifications - · Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering.
- · Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms.
- · Supplier/ vendor relationship management experience - · English knowledge in an intermediate level.
