The LST Procurement Assistant is responsible to support the Area LST business through the sourcing, quotation and operational controls to keep procurement team updated and vendors regularized in accordance with Maersk rules.
Be a business partner to site managers, product & commercial teams in delivering optimized costs through cost effective, compliant and quality procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities.
Responsible for prospect and quote new or current opportunities for transport, terminals and warehousing opportunities; Management of.
Vendors’ risk analysis; reports related to Maersk processes; new vendors registration; Contract duration; RFI’s validation & validity.
Vendors’ licenses control; Enable sustainable and profitable growth through best-in-class sourcing, optimizing operational behaviors and supplier innovation.
Ensure compliance is managed to the expectations of the Maersk internal policies and procurement guidelines processes.
Ensure compliance to global and local Maersk´s Business Principles, policies and standards and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement principles and processes.
We are looking for.
Bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain, Logistics; Engineering; Business Administration or related areas.
Procurement and industry experience (1 to 2 years as minimum) General understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Understanding of best-in-class procurement practices (7 sourcing steps, contracting, negotiation, etc.).
Organization and problem-solving skills.
