BUSINESS UNIT DIRECTOR, DATA CENTER

Business Unit Director, Data Center - This professional will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction and daily leadership of the business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and sustainable growth of the unit. Additionally, this role is responsible for optimizing the mutual benefits of vendors partnerships in the region, leading the strategic planning process and its execution to drive key partners'' growth. Responsibilities: Strategic Development: Define and implement the business strategy for the Data Center Business Unit. Identify market opportunities and develop plans to capture them. Stay updated on industry trends and technological innovations. Marketing and Market Strategy: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and marketing plans to support partner strategies. Develop and deliver brand programs and solutions to achieve key measurements. Manage and maximize marketing budgets, secure incremental funding, and maximize rebate programs. Relationship Management: Maintain C-suite relationships with vendors and partners. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct effective business reviews with partners and coordinate with sales or other relevant functions to clearly identify and communicate partner-related issues/opportunities and develop appropriate solutions. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate the business unit team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and develop development plans for the team. Ensure the profitability and sustainable growth of the unit. Be responsible for the financial performance of key vendors, measured by sales, profit contribution, ROIC, inventory, market share, and/or other agreed metrics. Review, address, and own profitability issues in relation to the P&L target. Operations and Processes: Oversee the daily operations of the Data Center Business Unit. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Required Competencies: Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies. Financial Management: Solid knowledge in financial and budget management. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in leadership positions in Vendor Management business units or related sectors. Experience in team management and business strategy development. Fluency in English is desirable. Deep knowledge of the technology distribution industry, the ecosystem, and its partners. Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. Strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive. Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
