Business Controller Latam - You are the first point of contact for the Industry, Supply Chain, Innovation, Commercial/Service and Support Functions Controllers**Why work for us?**- Join a global leader in the field- Surround yourself with experts- International company with opportunities for travel**What youll be doing**Key elements of your role include:- Support of the strategic and operational planning process as well as forecasting- Translates objectives into capacity planning and investment plans for the location, reviews/challenges man and machine hour rates, service tariffs, utilization, et cetera- Monthly management reporting and analysis to monitor KPIs and targets to measure performance of the different functions/locations- Reviews and challenges performance with local business/function responsible persons. Secure necessary corrective actions are taken if and when required- Financial performance analysis to gain insight into business trends and identifies key drivers for achieving goals- Support and monitor risk management- Project reporting and control (pre/post)- Secure compliance to corporate policies and guidelines and initiates corrective actions- Product profitability analysis- Management of working capital- Understand and monitor allocation to the Industries, be able to explain deviations- Close cooperation and coordination with Financial control, esp. related to project accounting, accruals, provisions, budget and forecasting- Initiate initiatives to improve the organizational effectiveness to ensure operational excellence- Prepare and advise on investment proposals/business cases- Implement new/changing management reporting requirements**What were looking for**- The position requires strong analytical and financial skills, with key financial knowledge in the areas of accounting and performance management- Practical experience in cost accounting, calculation of tariffs and project control, as well as ERP/BI tools. - Confident to work on your own initiative and communicate on different levels within the organization- Ability to maintain a global perspective, influence/impact, be service oriented and to effectively manage change- A minimum of 5 years experience in comparable job- Strong experience in finance, controlling, forecasting and planning- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred**Commitment to Global Safety**As a Marel employee you are expected to respect internal rules and actively contribute to the delivery of the corporate Safety policy and guidance to ensure Marel is a safe place to work. **Marel Vision and Values**In partnership with our customers we are transforming the way food is processed.
