About the role ITS Local team is looking for a motivated BSA / Developer with a strong background in technology.
This team member will work with API Lead Architect, Enterprise and Solution Architecture team, Local BSA team to support third party solutions required for the branches to be compliant with local regulation.
This role will also support, develop and implement reusable APIs by using unified platform and automated solutions.
This person will provide adequate issue resolution, having substantial contact with other company departments as well as outside vendors.
This person will work with development teams and other stakeholders to drive and enable the migration and refactoring of on-premises applications to cloud native design and deployment methodologies.
This person will mentor and work with both senior and junior developers and architects to bring them up to speed on cloud architectures including modern programming languages, microservices and container based deployments.
What you need Knowledge of business processes for supported business groups Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions Working knowledge of cloud Working knowledge of Agile development, Scrum and Application Lifecycle Management Advanced working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups Understanding of the SDLC process and project management steps used in delivering IT solutions Knowledge of Restful API design patterns Sound knowledge of implementing JMS messaging services Understanding of how Information Security fits within the IT architecture and infrastructure What you will be doing Analyze business user needs, document requirements, develop new or modify reports or analysis functionality (dashboards, visualizations) as necessary Communicate with management and business partners on production and project statuses in a timely manner Interface with software vendors and suppliers Work closely with internal business units to facilitate project completion Analyze, design, develop, as well as implement RESTful services and APIs Be involved in the development life cycle and perform definition and feasibility analysis Implement, integrate, and document a variety of software platforms through the REST API framework Apply the latest software design techniques and contribute to the technical design of new solutions Modify existing programs, prepare test data and functional specifications Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement areas Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks Define cloud standards, DevOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool chain and Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
Deploy API CI/CD implementation using automation tools for testing, standards, and security compliance Educate teams about Cloud standards, migrations and SOEDefine and enforce Cloud architecture best practices.
