Overview The BID (Business Intelligence and Development) area of Alstom is responsible for preparing commercial and technical proposals in response to bids, ensuring that the offerings meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations.
Key activities include detailed analysis of project specifications, development of suitable solutions, coordination among different departments such as engineering and finance, and presentation of competitive proposals.
Additionally, the BID team works on identifying market opportunities, managing risks associated with proposals, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the bidding process.
Specific responsibilities of the role Support in preparing dashboards for the area.
Support in area meetings.
Organization of materials and digital files in SharePoint.
Preparation of cost estimates for offers (small bids).
Migration of costs to the Ody.
software.
Competencies Ongoing Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting or engineering – to be completed by December .
Proficiency in MS Office - Especially excel (intermediate/advanced level) Knowledge of Power BI will be a plus Analytical and synthesis skills.
Effective active listening and communication skills Strong teamwork abilities.
Imagination and curiosity, as well as rigour and discipline (stick to deadlines).
Language skills Portuguese Native/Fluent English intermediate as minimum requirement.
