TripIt®, the leading travel Itinerary management service from SAP Concur, helps people organize and share their travel plans no matter where they book.
We’re looking for multiple Software Developers  to help build the next-generation microservices using cloud-first concepts and technologies including containerization, serverless architecture, and increased use of NoSQL data stores.
Value You Deliver Design, development & delivery of new features as part of agile team Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from product management, interaction designers, and other engineering teams (platform, mobile, quality).
Pro-actively identify ways to make TripIt more robust, scalable and user-friendly.
Own cloud services end to end, delivering distributed systems using AWS native services Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.
Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.
., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
Professional software development experience (developing consumer web applications preferred).
Expertise with server-side web frameworks (Python/Django or PHP/Symfony preferred) DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability.
Knowledge of one or more relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle (familiarity with one or more NoSQL databases is a plus) Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and knowledge on AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo is highly desired.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex technical concepts with ease across an organization.
Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions is preferred.
Experience in Travel Technologies a plus Excellent English communication.
