Backend Engineer (m/f/d)   Key Responsibilities.
Design and develop backend components using Java and Quarkus.
Work with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, to design, optimize, and maintain data storage solutions.
Implement and fine-tune search capabilities using Elasticsearch.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to define and implement requirements.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security, applying best practices.
Debug and resolve technical issues across services and databases.
Write well-documented, testable, and efficient code.
Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and architectural discussions.
Qualifications.
3+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL for database management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and containerization (e.
., Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
